Living the PENABUR Spirit

When I entered PENABUR, they were celebrating its 69th anniversary. Only now, realizing that PENABUR is celebrating its 75th legacy, made me realize how it was celebrated with my every step as it guided my secondary school experiences. It means a lot knowing my adolescence was shaped alongside them. PENABUR taught me how to be kind, compassionate, as well as ambitious in achieving my goals.

These are certainly traits that I hold securely with me toward my near future. The journey I spent in PENABUR is nothing short of an adventure. Yes, it was hard, as PENABUR is held to high academic standards, but it also gave me a chance to grow into the person I am now. It is through experiences like student organization, Premiere, and volunteering that gave me a more meaningful school life.

These events supplied me with the creativity, innovation, and leadership that allowed me to share with other people, especially in university life. PENABUR’s legacy will continue to not only prepare students but polish them as they shine toward their next step in life. Built on the BEST foundations, I can confidently say that all students from PENABUR reflected most if not all of the core values of this foundation.

PENABUR taught me how to be kind, compassionate, as well as ambitious in achieving my goals.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting various PENABUR people, and though I wish I was able to meet more, it’s safe to say that PENABUR students are unlike others I’ve met. Both international and national students hold a sense of responsibility and pride throughout their work and accomplishments but still stay humble and warm towards their companions.

I’m sure that PENABUR will continue to uphold this legacy for its future years. As a former PENABUR student, I’ll never forget all of the things PENABUR has given to me and my future, and I’m eternally grateful for it.
