I am delighted to be the Head of SPK Unit for PENABUR international school. SPK stands for Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama, a term given for school’s that adopt an international curriculum.
At PENABUR International, we use the Cambridge curriculum, from Checkpoint, IGCSE, until A Level. We provide quality education for our students to prepare them to pursue their dreams. We believe that every student is unique and talented. Therefore, students can become better and maximize their potentials.
We provide activities that build students’ self-confidence and global awareness. We focus on preparing them to grow as engaged and responsible citizens, along with empowering them to become effective and successful in every initiative they may endeavour.
We develop students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills and prepare them to enter society with confidence.
Our teachers and staff are engaged in continuous training, fully committed to the school`s objective to lead and develop students to be their best. Not only academically, but also to build students’ character by working with parents and family.

Statement of Ethos & Values:
At PENABUR International School we value all children as individuals and treat them with respect regardless of their age, gender, race, religion, ability or background. We strongly believe that every young person, regardless of their background or ability, has the right to a high quality education. As a school we aim to be a school that enables children to thrive and to reach their full potential ensuring they are fully equipped for the next steps within education and for adult life.
We build positive relationships within a nurturing environment and promote a ‘can do’ attitude which helps children to become more creative, resilient and independent. Through developing these attitudes and skills, we see children have greater self-esteem and become more confident and considerate members of the whole school community. We want them to feel proud to be part of PENABUR International School.
Our Values:
Our values of B.E.S.T. run through everything we do here at PENABUR and we aim to instil these values in all of our students. We want to help develop our children to be happy, well-prepared and confident young children, who adopt an ‘I can’ mentality and aim high in all they do. To enable us to achieve this and to be the very best we can be, we are committed to working in partnership with students, their parents/carers and the community. Our absolute aim is to make the most of every young person’s time with us.
Be Tough: We want our pupils to be persistent and independent in performing tasks both academically and personally. We endeavour to ensure that they are responsible, honest and humble. That they believe in themselves, they are skilled and creative. Realising through hard work they can achieve great things within school and beyond.
Excel Worldwide: Loves to study and read. Our pupils are taught to celebrate their individuality and to formulate their own opinions, expressing them maturely. To excel with National and International insight, mastering science and technology. We aim to instil a sense of bravery within our pupils and create an ethos where it is ok to make mistakes as long as we learn from them.
Share with Others: Passionate about leadership and being a role model. Our pupils are taught to be respectful citizens within school and the wider communities. Showing compassion, understanding and tolerance towards others regardless of their age, gender, race, religion, ability or background. To have an attitude of empathy. Able to socialize.
Trust in God: Relying on God in every aspect of life.
